Snowfall Baskets illustrates Chihuly’s exploration of translucency in his body of work titled Baskets. Poised against a pearlescent cream background, two Basket forms, one nestled within the other and boldly marked with black acrylic painted lines, provide an elegant expression of depth and connection.
Prints are framed with plexiglass and floated with a 1½" warm white border. Natural maple wood, flat profile frame with clear lacquer finish, ¾" wide and 2" deep.
