Two Chihuly series in glass – Baskets and Floats – are uniquely interpreted together in the six-color serigraph, Sea Swirl. Metallic lavender defines the perimeter of the Float form while a collection of dots and a Spanish orange lip wrap whispers the presence of a Basket within. The unusual pairing demonstrates Chihuly’s interest in reimagining his work in glass on paper.
Prints are framed with plexiglass and floated with a 1½" warm white border. Natural maple wood, flat profile frame with clear lacquer finish, ¾" wide and 2" deep.
